"We have been letting our large house for 35 years. We suffered from indifferent cleaners until about 20 years ago when we employed HMG. Since then the cleaning has been immaculate. They have been entirely reliable and have not missed a changeover in all that time. We had used a number of caretakers and builders before we found Barry, Judy and HMG but were never really satisfied that they were working in the best interests of us.
The HMG team have looked after our place in Harlyn Bay for a number of years and have always been extremely professional, hardworking and forward thinking. HMG look after our home as if it was their own and clean it as well, if not better, than I do! They look after our guests and family and always answer emails and queries we have without delay. HMG have done a number of building projects including structural work and a kitchen re-fit which have all been completed to a high standard and within budget. We live too far away to look after our property ourselves but don't worry as we know that Barry, Judy, Aidan and the team are always there for us."

As we live a considerable distance from our property in Padstow and having had a very negative experience with a different management company, we approached HMG with great trepidation. On our first meeting I was impressed with the complete professionalism of the the company and nothing that has happened, in the intervening 2 years, has does anything to alter the first impression.
Guests problems and complaints are handled with the up-most courtesy and speed, even when, sometimes, they are either a waste of time or unwarranted.
A measure of the dedication to HMG's clients is well demonstrated by the following example:- One Saturday evening I found I had a problem in the cottage, I emailed Aiden and put as a heading "Not to be read until Monday morning" within seconds the answer winged back "Sad as it may seem am still here, will pop round tomorrow". We used to have to come down to Padstow from Birmingham frequently just to make sure the house was safe. It was very tiring and expensive. Then a local lady suggested HMG and it has made our lives so much easier as the stress of looking after the house has been lifted off our shoulders.
They organise frequent checks of the property and offer changeover and cleaning services if we have guests. In fact, anything we want done from window cleaning to gardening can be done through them which is really handy. They can arrange all types of maintenance.
They are prompt and courteous in all dealings with us and we have found their prices very reasonable.

"Dear Neil, I am very happy to provide a reference for the work done on the balcony at Tregreen.
The balcony, which is very exposed to the elements, needed work done on it because water was leaking from it into our garage and for safety and aesthetic reasons. HMG handled all the preparatory work and then did a very good job in making the surface water-proof, laying down large tiles and erecting a new glass balustrade. Inevitably there were a few minor complications and adjustments to the anticipated works, but these were all handled efficiently and expeditiously. As a family we are delighted with the results.
